Bo was like a little brother and best friend to me. My family and I loved being in his presence as he did ours. He loved to gamble, specifically poker and black jack, and he would come to our weekly card games. He was what we called a “good better” not good player, because he was basically an amateur - not playing his cards right but loving to put up his money and bet high. We went to Foxwoods frequently and it would be the same outcome; we played every different game from roulette to the slots and he never left "on top", but always had the “who cares, it’s just money” attitude. Even when he heard my family arguing, he would often say “y’all are crazy, it’s just money”. He was the best of a friend I ever had and I miss him like crazy. True definition of a friend and overall good dude; I think about him daily.

TEARS

If tears could build a stairwell and memories were a lane,

I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again.

No farewell words were spoken, no time to say good-bye.

You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why.

My heart still aches in sadness, and secret tears still flow.

What it meant to lose you, no one will ever know.

PS. It’s been too long to go without a shoulder to cry on, or someone to vent to. Rest Easy BoJack!

I had so many great memories of Burrell. I'm going to talk about this one specific time, he made me feel special.   I was graduating and he asked me if he could come to support me. I was surprised because we had just met a few weeks prior. He showed up with a dozen long stem roses and a card with money at my graduation. After the graduation, he took me to eat at the top of the hub. I was so happy and a little surprised. It was right then and there that I knew he was a perfect gentleman.
